The gauge-construction must be coordinated to the specimen-characteristic. Especially the condition
(geometry, deviation, material thickness, natural strain) of the specimen has to be allowed for
construction.
The proper weight and the balance point should be used to position the specimen. Potential exceptions will be published by quality planner.
The specimen will precisely aligned with the network on three levels (XY, YZ, ZX).
If no information on the network is included in the drawing for the specimen, this is to be taken from the
CAD model.
The initial bases for the location are functional edges, formed surfaces, locating holes, or
locating pins on the specimen.
